WHITEPAPER

About $NEIL

The $NEIL token is a real cryptocurrency token, however it offers investors no real expectation of gains. It's a self-funded token, running on a Solidity Smart Contract hosted on the Binance Smart Chain. Most of the smart contract code was copied from GitHub and Stack Overflow, I am no expert in Solidity programming.

The $NEIL token is a fair and honest token. The contract source code has been published and verified. There are no hidden mint or burn functions, (to artificially increase or decrease supply). There are no buy or sell fees (taxes) added, or kickbacks to the developer. 50% of the total supply has been locked inside a Liquidity Locker for 12 months, to protect against pump and dump and rug pull schemes.

Of the remaining 50%, half was entered into a Liquidity Pool backed by $250 USD of my own money to provide liquidity. This means that traders can buy and sell these tokens, with 1,500 $NEIL being worth about $1 USD in real money. The remaining 25% of tokens was distributed amongst myself, friends, family and 30 lucky airdrop wallets.

Buy them, sell them, hold them (HODL) or give them away, and that's about it. There is nowhere to spend $NEIL tokens. Buy them for fun, but do not buy $NEIL tokens as a serious investment!

MEET

The Team

Traditionally, this is where an ICO whitepaper would tell you all about their team members, but there's just me behind this project. Neil Hillman, a professional developer with over 20 years experience in web technologies and a keen interest in cryptocurrencies; I know a bit about blockchain technologies, and thought it would be cool to create my own COIN. I am fully committed to making Neil Coin a success, but other than that, there's no real mission objectives.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Congestion and high volume on the larger, more established Ethereum blockchain network means that a typical transaction costs over $30 USD, (sometimes as much as $100 USD), and takes several minutes to complete. In comparison, on the newer Binance Smart Chain, a transaction costs about $0.40 USD and takes only seconds to complete. The Binance Smart Chain platform was specifically designed to run smart contract-based applications with low latency and cheap transaction fees.
This is the cheapest way, (0.3% transaction fee), that I have found of transfering funds from the Binance Smart Chain to the Polygon Mainnet. We will be using Metamask.io, as this is the most popular/common crypto wallet. This guide assumes that you already have Metamask setup, and your funds are in BNB in your Metamask wallet.

  1. Make sure you have the Polygon Mainnet network added to your Metamask wallet. If you don't, instructions are here.
  2. First connect your Metamask wallet to the Binance Smart Chain, and head over to Orbit Bridge, https://bridge.orbitchain.io/.
  3. Select "BNB" as the "TOKEN" you want to convent.
  4. Select "BSC" as the "FROM CHAIN" and connect your Metamask wallet.
  5. Select "Polygon" as the "TO CHAIN".
  6. Enter the amount you wish to transfer, (in BNB).
  7. Enter your Metamask wallet address, ('0x132...b8ce'), as the "RECIPIENT ADDRESS". (Your Polygon address is the same as your Binance Smart Chain address in Metamask.
  8. Sign the contract and proceed. You will pay no fees and no tax for this, you are simple swapping your BNB for Wrapped BNB on Polygon. After a few minutes your funds are available in your Metamask wallet on the Polygon network, (but you probably won't see them yet, as they will be in PBNB).
  9. Head over to QuickSwap, https://quickswap.exchange/, where you can change your PBNB into MATIC.
  10. You won't automatically see PBNB in the list of FROM tokens, but you can add it by pasting the contract address into the "SELECT A TOKEN" field:
    PBNB address: 0x7e9928aFe96FefB820b85B4CE6597B8F660Fe4F4
  11. Select the "TO" token as "MATIC", sign the contract and convert. For this there is a small fee, 0.3% paid to the liquidity providers.
  12. Now your funds will show up in your Metamask wallet as MATIC, Polygon Mainnet's native token.
